My other passions are sewing and free hand painting. In here you will find examples some of my custom work.

Halloween is my favorite holiday! I started making costumes about 5 years ago after seeing so many of the same old witch and ghost costumes. After making my own, friends began to approach me on helping them with ideas for theirs. This past year I experimented with a foam clay in which I created a mask of "Frank the Bunny" from the movie Donny Darko.

My sewing works consists of everything from hemming pants and zipper replacements to fixing rips in jeans and drum stick holders. I also do alterations on wedding and prom dresses, taking in or letting out clothing, shortening sleeves, custom made bags, pouches and purses.

I love refinishing and hand painting old furniture. You may see an old rusted plant stand that is placed on the curb for trash pick-up. I see a beautiful new plant stand that has intricate vine and flower scrollings on the table. As they say, "One persons trash is another persons treasure!"

Curtains can be very expensive. Especially if you live in some of these old apartments that have odd size windows. Hand made curtains don't have to be that expensive! And the best part about having me make them for you is that you can pick a color and design that you would never find in pre-made curtains!

Hand made gifts are are something else that I love creating. I have something for every holiday of the year! I can personalize hand painted wooden Christmas ornaments for your loved one. Or maybe a personalized gift box for a special piece of jewelry. I also make one of a kind Easter baskets and dressed bunnies to go along with them.

I've just begun to do some upholstery work as well. Recently I re-covered some old boat seats and have also made cushions for patio furniture.
